The National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Professor Nentawe Yilwatda, has stepped up engagement with supporters of President Bola Tinubu as preparations for the 2027 general elections gather momentum.
Yilwatda during the weekend, met with the leadership and volunteers of the City Boys Movement, a political support group campaigning for Tinubu’s re-election.
The Deputy Director of Media Monitoring and Rapid Response of the movement, Bashir Ahmad, disclosed the meeting in a post on his verified X account.
According to Ahmad, the APC chairman commended the group for its activities and mobilization efforts across the country while urging its members to sustain their campaign for Tinubu ahead of the 2027 presidential election.
“We were honoured to receive the APC National Chairman at the City Boys Movement Headquarters,” Ahmad said.
The engagement highlights the growing mobilization by pro-Tinubu groups and the APC leadership as the ruling party prepares its political machinery for the 2027 elections.
The City Boys Movement is one of the support groups established to promote President Tinubu’s bid for a second term in office.
