The Chairmen of the All Progressives Congress (APC) across the six Area Council in the Federal Capital Territory FCT have passed a vote of confidence on the FCT APC Chairman southeast, Okechukwu Mazi Samuel Agu.
The Chairmen APC Southeast passed vote of confidence on their FCT Chairman during a meeting of FCT APC Southeast forum which took place at Gwagwalada Area Council at the weekend.
The Chairman of APC Southeast in Gwagwalada Area Council, Hon. Matthew O. Orji, who is also the Senior Special Adviser (SSA) to Gwagwalada Chairman on religious matters, was the first chairman among the five Chairmen to pass vote of confidence on their FCT APC Chairman southeast.
However, all the Chairmen of APC Southeast forum across the six Area Councils who spoke during the meeting expressed satisfaction over the leadership of Mr. Okechukwu Mazi Samuel Agu.
In an interview with newsmen after the meeting, the FCT APC Chairman Southeast, Mr. Okechukwu Mazi Samuel Agu, said he would continue to provide purposeful leadership capable of satisfying the aspirations of APC Southeast members and its executives in the territory.
Samuel Agu said the leadership of the FCT APC Southeast forum is ready to accommodate those members of Labuor Party who want to join APC.
He then called on the FCT Minister to deem it necessary to provide jobs for the members and executives of the FCT APC Southeast whenever the need arises.
While addressing the crowd during the meeting, Agu thanked the members as well as the officials of the FCT APC Southeast forum for supporting him, pointing out that he would continue to lead them to the right direction. Meanwhile, about 61 members of APC Southeast forum attended the meeting.
