APC convention: South South stakeholders want Fubara for vice chairman

Director General of the All Progressives Congress (APC) States Assembly Forum, (ASAF), Ambassador Fubara Dagogo, has been asked to contest the South South Vice Chairmanship position of the ruling party, at its March 28 national convention
Ambassador Dagogo, who has been a legacy and foundation member of the APC was called out by a group of APC South south stakeholders, during a media briefing in Abuja on Tuesday
Spokesperson of the group, Hon. Teibowe Diepriye, said the stakeholders from South – South zone of the party have resolved to send the ASAF DG as it’s representative at the APC NWC, ahead of the proposed National Convention, stressing that the zone stands to benefit a lot under the youthful leadership of Fubara Dagogo in the party’s leadership organ
He emphasized that the zone requires a member of the NWC whose voice must be heard in its interest, noting that it has provided much support to the APC, to deserve a strong representation.
