ll Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) has dissolved its caretaker committee in Imo state with a promise that a new one would be put in place soon to give the party the required spread and vigour in the state ahead of 2015 governorship election.

This is even as the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), Anyim Pius Anyim, has forwarded to the chairman of the National Conference, Justice Idris Kutigi, the names of Victor Umeh and Sani Shinkaffi, as the genuine delegates to represent APGA in the conference.

Briefing journalists yesterday in Abuja, APGA Chairman, Victor Umeh, said the necessity to reconstitute the committee and reposition it for effective and virile leadership in Imo state has become inevitable given the disagreements among members of the dissolved committee.
