APSON appeals to Jigawa govt to involve private schools in teacher’s capacity building

The Association of Private Schools Owners of Nigeria ( APSON) Jigawa state chapter has called on the present administration in the state to consider private schools teachers while conducting the orientation and capacity building to teachers in the state.
The Association also appealed to the state government to provide more land for private Schools to achieve better expansion of conducive learning environment in their schools.
The call was made by the chairman Association of Private Schools Owners of Nigeria (APSON) Jigawa state chapter Comrade Ojo O. Felix While delivering his speech at one day workshop on qualitative leadership to Jigawa private schools teachers by the Skyline University Nigeria held at NUT center Dutse.
“As the present administration in Jigawa state allocated almost 34 percent of it’s 2024 budget to Education sector, we appealed to the Commissioner of education to involve the private schools in teacher’s capacity building and other trainings.
“APSON also want use this opportunity and appeal to governor Malam Umar Namadi to allocate land to private schools praprietors to expand their schools for conducive learning environment”, Mr Ojo said.
The chairman who commended the Skyline University Nigeria for training 50 private schools praprietors in Jigawa state urged other Universities to emulate.
While delivering his speech, the Vice Chancellor of Skyline University Nigeria, Professor Ajith Kumar V.V expressed their readiness to partner with Jigawa government for strengthen the quality education system in state.
