An author based in Kuje Area council of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Sunday Okwu Ojor, has called on the government to implement good policies that will touch the lives of FCT residents and the country as a whole, at all times.

who made the call in an interview with newsmen during the unveiling of his book entitled “The Wrong Side of Rights” and presentation of merit awards to some distinguished personalities at the weekend, in Kuje, noted that it was only right policies that could transform the Territory and the nation at large for the better.

He urged the government at all levels to always expedite action on provision of amenities, and adequate supervision of the contractors whenever laudable projects were given to them to execute, so as to avoid shady work.

He further appealed to those in positions of authority to provide purposeful leadership capable of satisfying the aspirations of Nigerians, pleading with the give to place emphasis on the needs of the citizens.

According to him, as an author he would continue to write books that would be of great benefit to his fellow citizens, and urged media professionals to have the determination to writing books instead of only concentrating on news reporting aspect of the field.

He therefore, advised the residents and other Nigerian citizens to cultivate the habit of reading books always in order to update their knowledge.

On his remark, the chairman of the occasion, Sir Moses Agbakwu, commended the author for writing the book to educate people.
