The Department of Mass Communication, Abubakar Tatari Ali Polytechnic, Bauchi has reaffirmed its determination to make good use of the modern facilities provided in the department to mound the students to become technologically compliant journalists.
The newly appointed Head of the Department, Malam Nazif Abba Pali stated this while answering questions from newsmen in his office.
Pali said more efforts would be put in place to ensure effective teaching and learning in the department.
He assured the commitment of the department to justify the efforts of the Polytechnic’s Management, for investing hugely in the department.
The newly appointed Head of the Department, attributed the commencement of the Higher National Diploma in the Department to the digital practical facilities provided and dedication of Staff in the discharge of their duties.
He said, the establishment of the Campus Radio in the department will give opportunity to the students to engage actively in practical aspects of their study.
Pali used the medium to enumerate some of the achievements recorded in the department, to include provision of digital practical equipment and accreditation of some courses among others.
