The Group Managing Director / CEO of Blue Ocean Nigeria Limited, Dr Damilola Ade has call on the Nigerian Lawmakers to make provision for more women involvement in politic as the National Assembly under go another round of constitutional amendment.
Dr Ade stated this yesterday when she bags Icon of peace and Nation building award from the ” Nigerian Women of Integrity Per Excellence”, in recognition of her immense Contribution towards women and youth Empowerment, Philanthropist works and education development.
“Women are compassionate in nature, caring and careful management of resources , so when making laws we should consider gender issues and other forms of discrimination that affect our women, all what the women need is that enabling space for them to excel and this will bring positive impacts on our society”.
“For the organisations am managing “We have been doing a lot of humanitarian services for more than a decade now in a very low key without publicity including building religious houses and creating jobs for terming youths and we want to do more for the service of mankind by God grace apart from sponsoring of thousands of students in School, we are also taking care of the vulnerable people in our communities , the windows and the disadvantage persons” ,
“Women in politic play very vital role for the nation to witness rapid growth what ever they do is to the best as you may know once you are call upon by your people to serve, one should do it diligently because to me politics should be a way of creating impact for the very people you served and this was the legacy of my father and I want to maintain this legacy as am going into politics, am calling on women to participate in politics fully because is the only way to change things for the betterment of our citizens, I stand today to dedicate this award to the glory of God and million of peoples we have touch their lives out there in one way or the other, I appreciate my family members for their support at all time and I want to thanks this organization for finding me worthy for this award”.

The Nigerian Women of Integrity Per Excellence”, delegation led by the Secretary General, Ambassador Ify Okoye said the NGO is known for promoting rights of women and the vulnerable groups, Empowering the women and youths , uniting Nigeria women and the Diaspora, enlightenment campaigns for religious tolerance among citizenry election monitoring and grassroot mobilization for the past 18th years now, identifying and recognising individuals and and groups that has made large impact on the lives of average Nigerian and policies that has affected the society positively while calling on other individual to contribute their quota toward making our country a better place she acknowledged the contributions made by Dr Ade that has dear them for her to be qualify for this Iconic hall of fame including payment of school fees to thousands of less privilege children and prudent management of humans and materials resources of several companies in her care. The NGO said they are on mission working everyday ensuring citizens are doing the right thing through advocacy and making sure that people are reward for doing good ..
