Kaduna State Governor, Senator Uba Sani, has unleashed his wrath over the killing of a teenager, Ismail Muhammad, during a protest in Samaru, Sabon Gari Local Government Area, vowing to bring the perpetrators to book.
In a strongly-worded statement, Governor Sani described the incident as “unacceptable” and “barbaric”, promising to leave no stone unturned in ensuring that justice is served.
“The killing of young Ismail is a stark reminder of the recklessness and impunity that has characterized our society. I assure the people of Kaduna State that we will not tolerate this kind of brutality. We will unleash the full fury of the law on those responsible,” Governor Sani declared.
The Governor’s anger was palpable as he spoke on the phone with the father of the deceased, Muhammad Hussaini, consoling him and promising to support the family in these trying times.
A high-powered delegation led by the Overseeing Commissioner for Internal Security, Samuel Aruwan, was dispatched to condole with the family, as the Governor vowed to stay in close contact with them until justice is served.
With this strong stance, Governor Sani has sent a clear message that his administration will not tolerate violence and impunity, and that those responsible for the killing of Ismail Muhammad will face the full weight of the law.
