The formation of the state chapters followed inauguration of the national organ of the Association in December last year, at a convention hosted by the university.

The 2nd National Vice Chairman of the Alumni Association, Dr. Nazifi Darma said the inauguration of the FCT chapter of the Association signposted progress being made by the parent association in bringing together all the alumni under its banner.

He charged the new chapter leadership to key into the programmes of the national body of the association, including the national convention and fund raising dinner billed for December in Abuja.

The chapter chairman, Mohammed Alhassan Gumel promised to embark on aggressive membership drive and maintain close ties by organising social events.
