The Chairman, Abuja Municipal Area Area (AMAC), Abdullahi Adamu Candido has stressed the need for residents especially Christians in the Council to imbibe the spirit of sacrifice, love and affection, as they join others to mark this year’s Easter.
Candido, who made this assertion yesterday, while delivering his Easter, also whished Christians a peaceful celebrations.
“On behalf of the good people of Abuja Municipal Area Council (AMAC), we want to wish our Christian brothers and sisters a happy Easter celebration, bearing in mind that Easter itself is a talking about sacrifice of our Lord Jesus Christ made to reconcile man with God.
“Therefore, the sacrifice of Jesus Christ must not just end with Him alone, but the good people of the Lord themselves must continue with that spirit of ensuring that we sacrifice for one another.
“It is our expectation that residents across the AMAC and environs must imbibe the spirit of sacrifice, love and affection,” the AMAC boss stressed.
