CSOs Laud FG over the appointment of one of them as Board Member, North Central Dev. Comm

Civil Society Organizations with focused on Budget Implementation, Assessment, Monitoring and Evaluation Committee (CBIAMEC) has applauded the Nigeriàn Government for the appointment of one of their own into the Board of the newly created, North Central Development Commision (NCDC,).

Speaking through their Chairman , Amb Splendour Agbonkpolor who led the delegation members of CSOs to the office of the new appointee, Comrade Solomon Adodo yesterday in Abuja.

‘ We are here to show Solidarity to you and to express our gratitude to the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, His Excellency Bola Ahmed Tinubu , The Senate President, Sen. Godswill Akpabio and the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), Sen. George Akume for finding you worthy to represent us as Civil Society Organizations and the good people of FCT which you belong”
” We want to reafirmed a total support for you and our prayers for God to guide you right, our hearts full of joy and we have nothing to say than to thank God and Mr President for this gesture “. We are here in numbers from all nooks and crannies in all the local government areas in the country to celebrate you on this feat”.

“We want to set agenda for you to go there work harmoniously with the Chairman and the Managing Director so that the people of FCT and beyond will fill the much needed impact for this well intended Commision of Mr President, aim at bringing development and prosperity closer to the people especially to the rural dwellers “.

Meanwhile the National Coordinator, African Poverty Alleviation Initiative, Mr Okpanachi Jacob, said this courtesy visit is timely and charge the new appointee Comrade Adodo’ to prioritize the welfare of Nigeriàns first as someone who has been advocating for good governànce ,
” This is the chance for you to act and we know you as a man with capacity you can effect the positive change so the world will know that we have you.

According to Mr Jacob, CSOs has been the bed rock for development in Nigerià and they have been in the forefront of fighting for the entrenchment of democracy and good governànce in our country for the emancipation of the poor people, let me say now for Mr President to recognize one of us we will always support him and propagate his reforms Agenda.

In his response, the new board member of NCDC, Comrade Adodo thanks members of the CSOs for this agenda setting meeting and promise them of his total and positive impact as he join the Board for the benefit of FCT people and other Nigeriàns.

“Let me use this opportunity to appreciate you people for coming and the congratulations I have received. God will reward you all.

Let me also use this medium to thànks Mr President, the Senate President and the SGF for their fatherly guidance and support and my special appreciation to the Almighty God for this achievement.

” We the president appointees are the foot soldiers for us to drive the reforms and development strides to all parts of the country, The President mean well for Nigeria but we need to be patient.

You can look at all Sector of the economy we are moving forward as a great Nation.

This Administration is doing so much and the results are there for people to see and it cut across all sectors. We need everyone to support Mr President he is creating a new Nigerià for us and the unborn generations for me I will not let you people down, Adodo said.
