Nigerian Customs Service Niger/Kog States Command has said to have made a seizures of goods worth N165,979,500 in the last month of November.

The Customs Area Controller, Compt Kadejo Busayo disclosed this while briefing newsmen in Minna, saying that the seizure include 15 vehicles valued at N141,600,000.

He added that other items seized are pharmaceuticals pharmaceuticals, footwear, imported soaps, machetes, jack knives, second hand clothes and canned sardine fish to the cost of N24,379,500.

Kadejo Busayo further revealed that the command had generated N22,670,706 for the month under review, November 2022 adding that they had over N49 million for the month of September from Demand Notices, however stated that it has surpassed the targeted revenue for the year.

He reiterated the commitment of the command in an efforts to dare the smugglers, noting that the federal government policy on boarder closure is still in force as officers were fully ready to engaged them.
