CVR: 7.4m Nigerians pre-register within eight weeks, says INEC

The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, has disclosed that a total of 7,415,760 Nigerians have pre-registered online under its ongoing continuous voter registration CVR exercise.

The figure represents those who have pre-registered online as at week eight (8) of the commencement of the exercise.

According to the weekly online pre-registration statistics released by INEC on Monday, the breakdown of the figure showed that the number of females who registered within the period stands at

3,877,330 (52.28%), while that of males was 3,538,430 (47.72%).

The figure of youths between the ages of 18-34 who have so far registered was put at 5,095,056.

Those of students was 1,873,848, with that of the people with disabilities (PWDs) was 168,680.

The total number of people who have completed both the online and physical registration between 6th  – 10th October 2025 (Week 7)was 1,502,733.

While the number of completed online pre- registration stands at 878,715, that of physical registration was 674,018.

The number of females who have completed registration is 828,563 (55.14%), while that of m was  674,170(44.86%).

That of Youths (18-34) was 1,106,731, while those of students was 507,097 with PWDs standing at 21,244.
