David Mark, Makinde head Ekiti post-primary reconciliation committee

…As candidate gets return certificate today

The National Working Committee (NWC) of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has constituted a Post-Primary Reconciliation Committee (PPRC) for Ekiti State.

The committee is headed by former Senate President, Senator David Mark, with the Governor of Oyo State, Engr. Seyi Makinde as co-chairman.

Other members of the committee are; 

Dr. Adolphus Wabara, another former Senate President, Sen. Mrs. Zainab Kure, Dr. Prince Charles Akitoye, Sergeant Awuse, 

Col. Bala Mande and Chief Shuaibu Oyedokun with Sen. Sanusi Daggash as Secretary.

The Committee, according to a statement by the National Publicity Secretary of the PDP, Hon Debo Ologunagba, is charged with the sole mandate of reconciling all the party’s stakeholders in Ekiti State, including all aspirants in the just concluded Governorship Primary Election in the State.

According to the statement, “This is in line with the commitment of the NWC to ensure an amicable resolution of all issues as our Party sets for a victorious governorship election in Ekiti State”.

In a related development, the the PDP has slated the presentation of Certificate of Return to its candidate for the June 18, 2022 governorship election in Ekiti state, Hon Olabisi Kolawale. 

A statement yesterday by the National Organising Secretary of the PDP, 

Hon. Umar Bature, says, “The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) invites our leaders, critical stakeholder, members of our Party as well as the general public to the *presentation of Certificate of Return* to our candidate for the June 18, 2022 governorship election in Ekiti state, Hon Olabisi Kolawale. 

“The event is scheduled to hold on Tuesday, February 1, 2022 at the National Executive Committee (NEC) Hall of the PDP National Secretariat, Wuse Zone 5, Abuja at 3pm prompt.

“Please note that Covid-19 protocols on public gathering will be strictly adhered to”, it said .
