The newly appointed Secretary to the Delta State Government (SSG), Chief Patrick Ukah, has charged management and staff of his office to be committed in the discharge of their duties.
Ukah gave the charge during the official handing over ceremony to him by the out gone SSG, Mr Reginald Bayoko on Monday
The SSG said his office was vital in the realisation of the Stronger Delta vision of the state government under the watch of Governor Okowa, adding that with the quality of staff he had in the office, he was sure at maximum delivery on his mandate as the SSG.
“I know you have people who can work in this place and I am also aware that the best among the best civil servants are in this office,” Ukah said.
The SSG equally commended the Permanent Secretary in the office, Comrade Samuel Dietake, saying that he was always humble and dedicated in the discharge of his duties, wherever he had served as a civil servant in the state.
