DPR to sustain synergy with NSCDC in fight against vandalism, others

The Operations Controller, Department of Petroleum Resources DPR Minna Niger State, Engr Abdullahi Isah Jankara has assured of sustaining its synergy with the new commander, Nigeria Security and Civil Defense Corp NSCDC, Niger State Command, Mr Edem George.
Engr Jankara noted that the DPR was able to forestall the activities of pipe vandals, diversion of allocations by marketers, control of quacks in fueling business, regulation of bypass station and the rest with the help of the command
He charged for the understanding of the new commander to not only maintain the existing relationship but advance to the next level, for the good of government programs and policies particularly in oil and gas sector which is the mainstay of revenue for federal government.
Responding NSCDC, Niger State Commandant, Mr Edem George
appreciated the visit noted this was not only imperative for the two agencies, but timely, as well the first of it on his assumption of office.
Meanwhile, the Operations Controller, Department of Petroleum Resources DPR Niger received on courtesy call the leadership of Petroleum Stations Workers PSW, a branch part of NUPENG to appreciate him for guiding the members of the union to do the right thing in the state.
The leader of the delegation, chairman of Petroleum Stations Workers “PSW”,, Niger State, Alhaji Mohammad Mohammad Abubakar, who recounted the advantages realized by their membership in Niger State and all thank you to good ties established with the DPR.
He described the leadership of the operations controller as inclusive, goal getter, people oriented but dogged.
Mohammed expressed readiness to work with the department of petroleum resources DPR Minna Niger State for harmony and synergy ensure friction free operator/regulator connection.
He recalled, the efforts made by the Minna DPR led by Engr Abdullahi Isah Jankara during the acute scarcity of premium motor spirit PMS, around 2015 and 2016, at the time when there was sharp differences and communication gap.
Jankara then encouraged them to uphold good practice and be abide by rules guiding the business they run for efficient service and advice the leadership of petroleum stations workers PSW to sensitive their membership promising to assist them in that regard.
