All Progressives Congress (APC), Edo State chapter, yesterday held its congresses across the 18 local government areas of the state. The election was peaceful.

However, some aggrieved members of the party in Edo south senatorial district allegedly boycotted the election.

The congress was largely through consensus which was monitored by combined security team at the venues used for the exercise.

While some members of the party lauded the harmonized process, others ventilated their anger in different ways.

Hon. Friday Ogierhiakhi, Edo State House of Assembly member representing Orhionmwon south constituency, flayed the alleged involvement of the State government.
