The Enyimba FC and Dolphins FC have both reached the Federation Cup final after defeating Giwa FC 1-0 and Prime FC also 1-0 at Abeokuta and Abuja respectively yesterday’s semi finals.

Stanley Eguma’s side Dolphins grabbed a ticket to this season’s final of the Federation Cup as they managed to beat Nigeria National League outfit Prime FC by a lone goal.

Playing a highly determined game, Dolphins took the ball to the Prime lads and managed to unsettle them earlier on in the game an action that saw them grab the first and only goal of the match through Ebube Okpokwu.

The match from then on changed as Prime was put on the back foot with Dolphins on the ascendency.

However, a lot of the credit goes to the Dolphins’ defenders who stood between Prime and a possible equaliser as they thwarted almost every shot that was aimed grabbing the equaliser.

Dolphins will lock-horns with Enyimba in the final on 16th August, 2014.

The Aba Elephants now have an opportunity to win back to back titles on August 16 when they face Dolphins who have reached the final for the first time in seven years.
