The League Management Committee (LMC) has teamed up with some state FA Chairman to help the impeached president of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), Aminu Maigari returns to his office in Abuja.

Information has it that the FA Chairmen numbering about twenty two under the invitation of the erstwhile NFF president gathered in Abuja to move a motion nullifying the impeachment carried out by the National Executive Committee of the Football House.

Most of them were personally invited through a text message to the meeting which read, “Salam, senior Stakeholders, you are kindly requested by president Aminu Maigari to meet him in Abuja for discussion and, necessary logistics have been put in place. However, men of the Department of the State Security, DSS were said to have refused them from holding their meeting which forced them to move to a different venue provided by a top member of the League Management Committee, Shehu Dikko.

The meeting was held and there, they came out with their resolution ordering Maigari to return to his office.

It was alleged that Aminu Maigari and his allies have been putting forces and resources together to counter anything that the government will throw at them and are said to have paid each state FA Chairman $5000 to attend the Abuja meeting.
