Equipping The Persecuted (ETP) has been lauded for its quick intervention in saving the life of a victim of the recent terror attack in Efeyi-Utikpi, Ugboju in Otukpo local government area of Benue State.
Josephine Owoicho wife of the victim of the attack, Mr. Sunday Owoicho, who acknowledged the organization for funding her husband’s treatment, stated that they paid the entire hospital bills of her husband from the first point of treatment at the Benue State University Teaching Hospital (BSUTH) Makurdi to the National Hospital, Abuja.
According to her, the act, helped her husband to continue receiving the specialized treatment he urgently needed which would have been otherwise fatal.
Another family member of the victim, Emmanuel Akade also expressed appreciation to the Media Relations Officer of the ETP, Barr Franc Utoo and the Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of Equipping the ETP Judd Saul for facilitating the life saving intervention for his brother and other vulnerable victims.
While Andy Nomsoor, the Benue state Representative of ETP said Mr. Owoicho was shot in the head during the attack and he suffered brain damage which also severely affected his speech and the organization speedily intervened to save his life.
