Former Labour Party chieftain and Chairman of Nom Bajju 2025, Engr. Michael Ayuba Auta has commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Kaduna State Governor, Senator Uba Sani, for their roles in establishing a federal university in Southern Kaduna.
Engr. Auta gave the commendation while serving as Chairman of the 2025 Nom Bajju cultural festival, Kaduna state Chapter saying that the university’s establishment is a major step towards improving education and fostering unity in the region.
He noted that the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, his Vice Kashim Shettima, and Uba Sani is, of no doubt, a good governance that is centered on inclusivity regardless of political affiliations and regional biases and therefore applauded their doggedness to establish the university against all odds.
Auta said, “Your unrelenting, doggedness and calm nature in uniting the people across all faiths, irrespective of tribe or party affiliation, has endeared you to many, especially the people of Southern Kaduna.”
Engr. Michael, who was the LP senatorial candidate for Southern Kaduna in the 2023 general elections, also applauded Senator Sunday Marshall Katung of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) for his immense contributions towards the realization of the project.
The Nom Bajju Chairman equally paid tribute to past leaders who laid the foundation for such progress, including the late Senator Isaiah Balat, Colonel Nyan, Ali Madaki, former Governor Late Patrick Yakowa, late II Iko, General Luka Bako, former Deputy Governor Stephen Shekari, and former Deputy Governor, Late Barnabas Bala Bantex.
