The Executive Chairman of Kwali Area Council in the FCT, Hon. Danladi Chiya has been crowned as the Garkuwa of Yangoji Community by the village Head of the Community, Mallam Dantani Shindawo Yakubu.
In an interview with newsmen, Shindawo Yakubu said the Kwali Chairman was crowned today due to the vital role played in the community.
The royal father called on the entire resident of Yangoji Community to always co-operate with him in order to actualise his dreams for the community, pointing out that the position of the Village Head was left vacant for the past 12 years.
He charged his subjects to join hands with him to move the Yangoji forward and urged them to be patient at all times.
The Yangoji Village Head appealed to the Chairman of Kwali as well as the security agencies to continue to wage war against criminals in the area, as he said the community was facing the security problem for so long now.
Speaking at the coronation ceremony in Yangoji on Saturday, the Chairman of Kwali Area Council, Hon. Danladi Chiya tasked the people of Yangoji to live in peace in the Community.
