Niger State Governor, Alhaji Abubakar Sani Bello has directed for the closure of all quack clinics as part of measures toward  avoiding deaths caused by negligence and unnecessary human error. 

The governor stated this at the flag off of distribution of 3.7m insecticides and treated nets in Minna.

He said efforts must be made to avoid deaths caused by negligence or human error.

He said the state government has made huge investments and commitments in the delivery of healthcare services over the years which he said is evident in the gradual reduction of malaria prevalence in the state.

Bello enjoined Nigerlites to collect and properly use the nets in order to significantly reduce the menace of malaria and urged the people to take  COVID-19 vaccine to build a resilient society and forestall further outbreak.
