FCT Natives applaud Minister on peaceful inauguration of Councils’ Chairmen

FCT Natives under the umbrella of Abuja Original Inhabitants Youth Empowerment Organisation (AOIYEO), have congratulated FCT Minister, Malam Muhammad Musa Bello for the successful Inauguration of the FCT Area Councils’ Chairmen.

In a statement signed by the President of AOIYEO, Commandant Isaac David described the Minister as lover  of peaceful coexistence of the Abuja people, and also saying he has played a major role of a unifier that shows that the FCT natives have no other place to call their own than the FCT.

David said the FCT Minister stood firm against the evil politician who wanted to monopolise the area council for the selfish gains, and he protected the mandate of the people.

He described both Ministers as outstanding and a fine example of the new crop of smart, intelligent and dedicated, justice proven administrators.

“Let us not forget that we have no  other than FCT. This is our home and we have to love our Territory, love our leaders, pray for our leaders, work hard to make this FCT great and the only way we can do this is through the collective work of all of us, no matter how highly placed or lowly placed, once we have that love for FCT in our heart, the sky will not be our limit.

“He is a man that obeyed the rule of law, he obeyed the court judgment and the judgement that corrected the error on tenure elongation. Let the Minister forget his accusers that he was part of the people that was instigating the idea of tenure elongation and move on with the good governance he has instituted in the Territory. 

“As it has always stand people can not do without him and he can not do without the support of the people.We are solidly behind him as he continues to dole out meaningful support to the FCT Area Councils and communities”, he stressed.

Describing FCT Minister, as a man that has a keen sense of right and wrong especially with regards to city management,  the youth leader said that governance should not be left to the principal officers alone, but should be a collective effort of all.
