Flood menace following a heavy rainfall on Tuesday night has wreaked disasters in Ozoro community in Isoko North Local Government Area of Delta State with major streets including several houses submerged.
Reports indicated that the heavy rainfall was worsened by storm which rendered the busy St-paul’s Church/Eriokpe Shrine quadrangle off Notre Dame College Township Road.
Otherwise parts of the fast growing metropolis where residents were virtually held hostage include: Blessing Lode Street, Kingdom Avenue and the inner reaches of Lolo Hotel, off the Ozoro/ Ughelli Highway among others.
