FOSLA FC commiserates with Nasarawa United over Chineme Martins death

The management of Nationwide League One, NLO side, Fosla Football Club, Abuja has expressed deep sadness over the death of Nasarawa United defender, Chineme Martins who collapsed and died while playing against Katsina United in one of the NPFL matches played on Sunday at Lafia City Stadium, Lafia, Nasarawa State.
Martins Death is a sad one in that the player died while playing football.
As a football club, we commiserate with Chineme Martins family, Nasarawa United football club, players and management over this incidence.
While we believe that God gives and takes as when it pleases Him, we also hope that the management of the leagues in the country take effective measures to ensure that clubs comply with existing medical standard to avoid future occurrence.
The medical needs of the players, officials and everyone that connects with football should be paramount and effort should not be spared in ensuring full compliance by all clubs in all the league across the country.
