Four applicants who sat for job test of the Nigeria Immigration Service admitted at the Rivers Government owned Braithwaite Memorial Hospital have been discharged.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that a stampede at the Liberation stadium, Port Harcourt, venue of the Nigeria Immigration Service job interview, injured some of the applicants.
At the end of the stampede, four of the 12 applicants sent to the hospital, died, four were treated and discharged while another four were in critical condition.
A competent source at the hospital, who pleaded anonymity, told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) yesterday that the four applicants, who were formerly in critical condition, had been treated and discharged.
The source said consultants and experts were mobilised to attend to four remaining patients.
The source said that some of the applicants were discharged Saturday night, while others left the hospital yesterday. (NAN)
