Jama’atul Islamiyya of Nigeria Mosque at the weekend donated provisions to Jam’iyar Matan Arewa Ophanage home in Kaduna.
According to the management of the Mosque they donated the material to the orphanage home as part of their 90 years anniversary in Nigeria.
Chairperson of the Women Wing of the Mosque, Alhaja Fatima Sadiq said they were at the home to show love and affection to the children.
She said the women wing was established recently and she called on individuals within the society to always find time to visit such homes so as to provide them with assistance.
Receiving the donations, Matron of the home, Hajiya Asabe Muhammad said the home was established in 1960s.
She explained that Jam’iyar Matan Arewa was a Non-Governmental Organization that cater for homeless children those whose parents abandoned after birth.
She thanked the group for finding time to visit the home as she prayed to Allah to guide and protect them.
Some of the items donated to the home include pampers, carton of indomie, cheeze, Bobo and milk.
Similarly, a special prayer was held on Friday where the chief man of the Mosque Ustaz Muhammad Kamaldeen Nasir urged Muslim ummah to always fear Allah in whatever they do.
He said the Jama’atul Islamiyya of Nigeria was established by some Muslim ummah in Lagos 90 years ago with the soul aim of propagating islamic religion.
