A director with the Federal Character Commission Abuja, Mr. Sarki Mohammed, who was the committee Chairman of Gbari National cultural

carnival for 2025 has urged the Gbari to come together irrespective of the states they live for the overall development of their communities.

He also charged the Gbari to deem it necessary to embrace one another for the sake of love and peace.

Mohammed, who stated this while speaking to Peoples Daily correspondent during the celebration of Gbari national cultural carnival in Kwali on Saturday, asked Nigerians to always identify with their cultures.

He called on the federal government to give recognition to Gbari for the sake of their population in Nigeria, and advised Gbari youth to kick against marginalization from the government of the day.

Also speaking, the Chairman of Kwali Area Council, Hon. Danladi Chiya, thanked the Area Council Chairmen who attended the 2025 Gbari cultural carnival.

On his part, the Etsu of Kwali, His Royal Highness, Ayedoo Nizazo III, pleaded with Gbari to speak with one voice.
