Christians community in Gombe state have described the proposed Almajiri and Children out of school Agency bill before the Gombe state House of Assembly as a bill that needed to be verified before passing it into law.
The Chairman of Gombe ECWA District Church Council (DCC) Reverend Dr. Adamu G. Dauda stated this in an interview with our correspondent in Gombe at the weekend.
He said the bill which is already in its second reading in the House of Assembly should be treated carefully in the manner that will benefit both the major religions in the state.
Dr. Adamu said the Agency bill which is being sponsored by the executive order should involved both religions to avoid differences among the two faiths.
He said Christians community in the state have been praying for the success of the present administration and are willing to support the government with its programme.
“We will continue to be law abiding citizens when it comes to rules and regulations and also to embrace peace.”
