The Sole Administrator/Director-General, Gombe state transport services (Gombeline) Dr. Sani Sabo has said that the transport services of Gombeline will commence its township operational services on Wednesday.
He stated this in his office on Tuesday in Gombe while interacting with Journalists.
He said government in its decision found it necessary to commence its township operation to ease the suffering of the people, owing to high transport fare within the state capital.
According to him, the commencement of the operational services will not only benefit the people but will also reduced hardship among the populace.
Dr. Sabo who said the township operational services which has 6 locations as strategic points also has 6 buses to operate within Gombe metropolis which will attract N100.00 transport fare per passenger.
He added that the services are expected to commence from 8:00am to 6:00pm daily.
He revealed that Gombe state transport services is committed to operating its services across the 36 states including the federal capital without any hitches.
According to him, the transport services had over 50 functional buses to cover all states of the federation, noting that no fewer than 40 new tyres were purchased to ensure safety of the buses while on transit.
