Nasarawa State Governor Engineer Abdullahi has reiterated his administration’s resolve to continue to give agriculture its pride of place by providing enabling environment for investment into the agricultural sector as well as to engender public partnership (PPP) towards agriculture revolution in the state and the nation as a whole.
Governor Sule gave the assurance on Tuesday in Lafia during the opening ceremony of the Agricultural Mechanization field day and interaction session with stakeholders in the North Central Zone.
The governor added that, the state government will continue to partner and promote commercialization of agriculture by harnessing labour saving devices that will enable farmers put more food on the table of the populace, maintaining that small holder farmers will continue to access improved farm inputs at subsidized rate and on timely basis to boost their agricultural production.
Governor Sule further applauded the National Centre for Agricultural Mechnization for hosting the important event in Nasarawa State.
