Governor Abdul’aziz Yari Abubakar yesterday swore-in Alhaji Tijjani Yahaya Kaura, to serve as new secretary to the state government(SSG). Alhaji Tijjani, a former minister and chieftain of Peoples Democratic Party [PDP] in the state, dumped the party early February this year for All Progressives Congress [APC].
Speaking at the swearing-in ceremony held at Government House, Gusau, Governor Yari said the appointment of the new SSG followed by his track record of performance at both local, state, and federal levels of government where he served in various capacities.
In his acceptance speech, the new Secretary to the state government,Tijjani Yahaya Kaura, thanked the state governor for recognising him, and assured of using his vast experience to move the state to the greater height as expected.
