A none-Governmental Organisation; The Universal Peace Federation; (UPF) has intensified its efforts towards ensuring a culture of peace for Nigerian both within, and outside the country.

Speaking at its recent indoctrination program organised in Abuja, for Nigerians in the Diaspora, the UPF Secretary General Dr Rapheal Oko said the Nigerian Ambassador for peace in Diaspora initiative is

designed to mobilise Nigerians in every nation of the world towards making commitments aimed at creating a positive image for Nigeria abroad and to contribute to ensuring peaceful co-existence among

Nigerians abroad.

He said the network which spreads across countries of the world, is a global representation of religious racial and ethnic diversity of the human family in the world, as well as in all disciplines of human

endeavor.

Dr Oko, added that the ambassadors will work collectively with the various Nigerian embassies in their respective countries of residence to ensure the return of lasting peace in Nigeria.
