The Anti-corruption cluster of Strengthening Civic Advocacy and Local Engagement (SCALE) project has observed poor funding of the National Anti-corruption Strategy (NACS) as the greatest challenge facing the implementation of the strategy.
The observation was made in a communique after a one day stakeholder dialogue yesterday.
The communique signed by David Ugolor, Executive Director, Africa Network for Environment and Economic Justice (ANEEJ), and other participants expressed dismay that the M&E Committee in its four years received no funding from the government except funding from Development Partners like MacArthur Foundation, Centre for Democracy & Development and RoLAC.
