Group lauds Defence Minister for creating safe business environment in Nigeria

The Dutse Emirate Traders Association in Jigawa State paid a courtesy visit to the Honourable Minister of Defence, Mohammed Badaru Abubakar, at his residence in Kano on Friday, 20th June 2025, in the spirit of the Eid el-Kabeer festivities.

This was contained in a statement signed by the Personal Assistant to the Minister, comrade Mati Ali.

According to the statement, the delegation was led by the Chairman of the Jigawa State Traders Association, Alhaji Yahaya Rungumau.

The statement said, during the visit, the association commended the Minister for his unwavering efforts in strengthening security across Nigeria, which they noted has significantly fostered a conducive environment for trade and commerce nationwide.

Meanwhile the Defence Minister Alhaji Badaru Abubakar also hosted  Forum of immediate past Local Government Council Speakers from Jigawa State.
