Advocates of Integrity Initiative” (CADII), has call on Nigeriàns to operate with Integrity in all dear dealings.
The Executive Director CADII, & Convener of the Integrity summit. Comrade Charles Agubor stated this in his welcome address in Àbuja during the National Integrity Summit 5.0, with the theme:
“Integrity Is Everything: Building Ethical Leaders for a Sustainable Future”. with calls on every Nigerian to always be transparent and just in what ever there are doing for the country to be a better place for all, infact we must bring sanity to our system,”. According to Charles.
” Let me use this medium to thanks the Antigraft agency ICPC , Development partners Youths groups, NYSC and other CSOs for their collaboration that has drive integrity message to all nook and crannies of our society.
“With profound joy and deep sense of gratitude that I on behalf of t he Committed Advocates of Integrity Initiative (CADII) and our esteemed partners, warmly welcome you all to the National Integrity Summit 5.0, a landmark event in our collective quest to promote transparency, accountability, and ethical leadership in Nigeria. This year’s summit, themed “Integrity Is Everything: Building Ethical Leaders for a Sustainable Future,” could not have come at a more defining moment. We are living in times when moral values are being tested and leadership integrity is under serious this gathering is not just a celebration scrutiny. Hence, it is a solemn reaffirmation of our conviction that integrity remains the foundation upon which great nations and enduring legacies are built Permit me to specially commend our Youth Corps Member s who participated in the Integrity in Leadership Workshop, a transformative training designed to nurture young Nigerians with values of honesty, discipline, and moral courage.
“Today, as you are being inducted as Integrity Champions (Cohort 1), I charge you to henceforth see yourselves as agents of change, young leaders whose lifestyles and professional conduct should positively impact society and inspire your contemporaries. Let your character and actions speak louder than your words. Let your service to humanity reflect selflessness, and your ambition be guided by moral principles.
The future of our nation rests on the shoulders of young leaders like you, and it is your integrity that will determine how far Nigeria will go in achieving her aspirations. To those who are being honoured today with the Integrity Ambassador Awards, I offer my heartfelt congratulations. Your recognition today is not merely an award, but an acknowledgment of your lifestyle and conduct that reflect honesty, fairness, and upright ness. You have shown through your words and deeds that integrity is not outdated; it is timeless. I encourage you to continue to live by example, to uphold these values, and to inspire all who look up to you. Your lives must remain beacons of hope, proof that doing right still matters, and that leadership anchored on character remains the surest path to sustainable success.
Today’s success is a testimony of collective effort, unwavering faith, and consistent support. Therefore, I want to sincerely thank all those who have contributed to the growth and sustenance of this noble initiative. To our esteemed partners, the Indepen dent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC), the Minister of Youth Development and other organizations and institutions who supported this noble initiative, we deeply appreciate your collaboration, encouragement, and institutional s upport over the years.
To our resource persons, facilitators, volunteers, and members of the planning committee, thank you for your time, commitment, and invaluable contributions toward making this event a success. To all our distinguished guests who have taken time out of their busy schedules to be with us we say thank you. Your presence reinforces the importance of what we stand for and strengthens our shared resolve to build a better Nigeria founded on truth and ethical leadership. As we celebrate how far we have come, we must also look ahead with renewed determination. The work of promoting integrity and raising ethical leaders is a continuous process that demands consistency, sacrifice, and partnership. I therefore appeal to wellmeaning Ni gerians, government institutions, corporate bodies, and international development organizations to continue to support this noble cause. Your moral, financial, and institutional backing will help sustain this initiative, train more young people, and spread the message of integrity to every sector and community across our nation.
Together, we can nurture a culture where doing the right thing becomes the norm, not the exception. Integrity remains the soul of leadership and the cornerstone of national development. Without it, trust erodes, progress stalls, and hope fades. Let this summit renew our individual and collective commitment to truth, transparency, and service. Let it remind us that integrity is not merely a virtue, it is everything. May today’s deliberations ignite a stronger passion for ethical leadership. Charles said.
