The Coalition Grassroot Network for Ali Pate, a group based in Toro Local Government Area, has called on the Coordinating Minister of Health and Social Welfare Professor. Muhammad Ali Pate, to contest for the Bauchi State Governorship in 2027 under the All Progressives Congress (APC).
The Coalition led by State Chairman Alhaji Adamu Ahmad flanked by the Toro Local Government Coordinator Hajiya Zulai Adamu Nabordo, made the call at a special meeting held in Nabordo.
In her opening Speech Hajiya Zulai said based on Professor Ali Pate’s good character, expertise, and policies aimed at national development, particularly in the health sector, they have decided to support him in his bid to contest for the Bauchi State governorship seat.
Zulai said they believe that Professor Pate would bring sustainable development to Bauchi State and build a brighter future for the people, particularly in the areas of health, education, and economy.
She said the meeting is the first of its kind they have organized across Toro Local Government Area to encourage Prof. Pate to contest for the governorship seat in 2027.
