Unknown gunmen yesterday abducted the son of PDP chieftain, former Chairman of the party and Bussines Mogul in Bauchi state, Alhaji Garba Mohammed Noma.
It was learnt that the son of the former Chairman, Sanusi Garba Noma was abducted at early hours of yesterday in front of his father’s residence in Bauchi metropolis.
The Bauchi state Police Command, who confirmed the incident through its Public Relation Officer, DSP Haruna Mohammed, said, ” At the early hours of today 13/11/2014, son of former PDP state chairman, Jarman Bauchi, one Sanusi Garba Noma, male, was abducted by yet-to-be-identified persons.
“The 33 years old Sanusi was standing outside his father’s house near Tipper garage Bauchi when he was taken to unknown destination.
He said the police have visited the scene of the incident assuring that Police Special Anti-robbery squad are trailing the abductors “
Efforts are seriously geared towards locating the victim and apprehend the culprits”.
In a related development, DSP Haruna Mohammed said the Chief Produce Officer at Ministry of Agriculture Bauchi, Iliyasu Yakubu, male and 44 years, who was abducted by two unknown persons on the 12/11/2014 at 4p.m., has been found and that he is in a stable condition.
