Gunmen have killed two internally displaced persons in Barkin Ladi Local Government Area of Plateau State.
National President of Berom Youths Moulders Association, Dalyop Mwantiri, disclosed this while speaking to the media in Kaduna yesterday.
According to him, the victims who were earlier displaced in previous attacks in Ratis village of the LGA, had returned to the community to rebuild their destroyed homes when they were attacked by the gunmen.
He added that, three other persons were also injured during the attack.
The youth leader said, “Another tragic incident has been witnessed in the Rantis village of Gashish District, Barkin Ladi LGA in Plateau State, where Internally Displaced Persons of Rantis were attacked about 3:30 pm on April 6, 2022. As a result, two persons have been confirmed dead while three others sustained fatal injuries.”
