Gunmen kill APC scribe in Ondo, Dele Isibor

The Secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ose Local Government Area of Ondo State, Hon. Dele Isibor, has been killed by suspected kidnappers.
The gunmen were said to have shot at the vehicle Isibor was traveling in alongside three others from Imoro to Ifon while on his way from a church programme.
With the three other occupants of the vehicle said to have been kidnapped by the gunmen, the APC chieftain who was hit by the kidnappers bullet was left in the pool of his blood.
The late Isibor was rushed to the the hospital where he gave up the ghost.
According to sources, the three others who were abducted were later released after payment of ransom by their families, while the 62 -year- old Isibor, who was also a member of the State Executive Committee of the party died on Monday night.
Confirming the death of the the state chapter of the party in a statement issued by its Publicity Secretary, Alex Kalejaye, described the killing of Isibor as shocking and devastating.
Praying for the repose of his soul, he said “the party condole with the Isibor family, his community, and the APC fold in Ose, and indeed, Ondo State, asking God to grant us the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.”
