The newly elected Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Gwagwalada Area Council of the Fedderal Capital Territory (FCT), Hon. Umar Abdullahi Yunusa, has said that he would carry every member of the party along in the area.
Yunusa stated this while speaking to newsmen during the party congress in Gwagwalada, also said he would work towards oneness within the party for the sake of unity and peace in the area.
He then called on the leaders of other political parties to join hands with him to move the Gwagwalada Area Council to the next level.
Speaking earlier, a strong member of PDP in the area Hon. Umar Farula, charged every member of PDP to speak with one voice, urging them to forgive one another for the progress of the party in Gwagwalada and its environs.
Faruk, who was the former secretary of Gwagwaalada, Area Council, used the PDP congress as a forum to appeal to INEC to conduct free, fair and credible election in 2026/27 that will be acceptable by every party in the area.
