Presidential aspirant of the All Progressives Congress APC in the forthcoming primaries, Mr. Sam Nda Isiah has declared that if elected to be President in 2015, he would be very harsh on corruption.

“Under my government, we are going to be very harsh on corruption, for me the chief fighter of corruption is not EFCC or ICPC, but the president himself, if the President’s body language did not favor corruption, I can guarantee you that nobody will engage in corruption or any other forms of malpractices”.

Addressing reporters at the APC’s national secretariat yesterday, Mr. Isiah lamented the poor condition of power supply saying, “we cannot claim to be Africa’s biggest economy and to be struggling with 4000 megawatts of electricity. We have spent billions of Naira on power and there is nothing to show for it.

“As a President, I would want to leave a legacy, I will bring genuine unity into this country, not the one that is been shown on the NTA.

On the controversy over Lagos Presidential primaries venue, Mr. Isiah rebuked report that the 3 aspirants have protested to the party, saying “we just advise the party that eagle square remain the best place for the primaries. We did not kick against Lagos, because we believe that Abuja is more convenient to all”.
