The National President, Importers Association of Nigeria (IMAN), Honourable Kingsley Chikezie, has called on members to consolidate on their position as agents of economic development of the country.
Chikezie, stated this during a general meeting of IMAN recently, in Abuja.
He noted that the Motto of the association, “National Growth Through Commerce,” should be seen by members as a call to national duty.
The national president then urged IMAN members to make integrity their watch word, saying a Board of Trustees (BOT), member of the association, Obong Patrick Udoh, “is a shinning example” in this regard.
In a interview with journalists on the sideline of the meeting, Kingsley Chikezie, assured that IMAN Special Taskforce is more than ever committed to among other things stopping importion of contraband goods into the country.
