The Etsu Kwali (i.e second class Chief) in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) His Royal Highness Dr Shaban Audu Nizazo III, has advised the Nigerian government to carry the traditional rulers as well as the youths along in the scheme of things in the country.
He also charged the government to provide jobs for the youths in order to better their lives.
The Monarch, who gave the advice while speaking with newsmen in his palace in Kwali during the Christmas celebration, further urged Nigerian leaders to consider the vulnerable group in governance for the overall development of the nation.
Commenting on the Traditional Institution in the country, Etsu Kwali expressed with joy the manner at which the government was working hard to make traditional rulers relevant in Nigeria, noting that the power of the royal fathers was gradually eroded in the society.
When asked on the Christmas message, he appealed to the people of Kwali to continue to live in peace with one another irrespective of religious inclinations, and urged them to love one another.
He specifically urged the Christian faithful to always emulate the lifestyle of Jesus Christ anywhere they found themselves.
On the Corona virus pandemic, Nizazo tasked the people of Kwali and the FCT at large to continue to obey the laid down rules and regulations guiding the deadly disease.
