Insecurity: CSOs Call on President Tinubu to fish out sponsors of Terrorism demand more political will

…as they award deserving Nigerians

The Leadership of civil society and advocacy groups, the National Council for Civil Society Organisations (NACCSO) and the Vision-One Leadership Development Initiative (VOLDI), has appeal to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to to fish out and punish the sponsors of Terrorism in Nigerià and to re-invent his political will to bring down the level of Insecurity in our society which according to them is high.

The CSOs however commended security agencies for their efforts which has improved in recent time the security of lives and properties in our land.

The National President of the group / Convener of the Award ceremony, Comrade Emmanuel Johnny in his opening speech make the call yesterday in Abuja, during the 3rd Nigeria’s Nations Builders Annual award 2025 with the theme; celebrating Excellence in Nation’s Building”, aim to honour deserving Nigeriàns who has shown capacity, charisma , delication, and improved service delivery in their line of duty.

Emma said Nigerià will be a better place and charge all Nigeriàns to join hands in building a nation of our dreams for us and the generations to come. ” don’t loss fath in our country we will overcome this challenges and it will soon be a thing of the past’. Comrade Emma Assured.

” We believe in Nigerià I want all of us to contribute our quota, by doing the right thing in your offices you are a nation builder, if you feed the poor you are a nation builder, by the time you provide borehole in your community you are a Nation builder and so on and so fourth “.

It cost nothing to build a Nation that we desire if we are committed and have the political will, I therefore call on Mr President “to step on someone’s toes”, and fish out sponsors of Terrorism and their collaborators so that this Insecurity can reduce drastically.

This award is a way of saying thank you for what you are doing well and to inspire you to do more, we must work together to defeat terror in our communities.

Meanwhile the CSOs has call on those in authority to partner civil society Orgànisations who according to him are in all nooks and crannies of this country to reach out to the grassroots through sensitization on the evils of Terrorist and other vices in our nation , in his word, no country can reach out to his people with vast population except through CSOs..

Acording to Comrade Johnny “this Nation Builders Annual Award is designed to celebrate excellence, patriotism, and innovation among Nigerians whose dedication and contributions have strengthened the nation’s development. He noted that the initiative is not just about giving awards but about promoting values of integrity, hard work, and service to humanity. “These honorees have demonstrated a passion for building a better nation through their various endeavours.
This recognition is both a celebration and a call to inspire others to serve with similar zeal,” he said.

Some of those honored at the event include,Hajiya Aisha Ahmed Audi, National President CDOWA, Dr Gloria Olutu of TETFund, Mr David Raymond Edet an Entrepreneur, CP Ifeanyi Uche of NPF NCCC, H.E Silas Agara DG NDE, General CG Musa (Rtd) former CDS, Prof Dantani Wushishi Registrar NECO, Commander Onoja Attah of NSCDC and others.

Responding one of the awardee Mr David Raymond Edet Thank CSOs for identifying Nigeriàns with track record to honour and promise to do more in his community outreach to touch more vulnerable people.
