An Islamic school known as the Madarasatul Hizburrahim Anguwan Bassa in Gwagwalada Area Council of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) on Saturday graduated a total number of 27 students including married women and children in the area.
In an interview after the graduation ceremony, the proprietress of the school, Mrs Huraira Musa Umar, charged the graduants to always read their books.
She appealed to the government at all levels to support the proprietors/proprietresses of the private schools financially in order to provide quality education to Nigerian child.
She also pleaded with the parents to deem it necessary to remain committed to the education of their children, noting that education is the bedrock of any society.
She therefore, appealed to the parents to pay the school fees of their children to enable the teachers to impart knowledge on them, urging the parents to buy the recommended textbooks for their children to enhance their learning abilities.
Also speaking at the occasion, the chief Imam of Gwagwalada Central Mosque, Mallam Muhammed Tukuru Zaria, advised the parents to send their children to Islamic schools at all times.
The chief Imam, however, commended the management of the Madarasatul Hizburrahim for imparting sound education on the ongoing students.
