The Jigawa State Government through Ministry for Local Government and Community Development has reiterated its commitment in continueing creation of best strategies for ensuring corrupt free Local Government administrative system in the State.
This was contained in a keynote address by the Commissioner for Local Government and Community Development, Ahmed Garba MK, during an opening ceremony of the two day workshop on integrity and ethics, at Green Desert Palm Hotel, in Kano State.
He said the workshop with a theme, “Institutionalizing Integrity and Ethics in the Public Service”, was aimed at equiping the participants with moral principles that helps in ensuring transparency, accountability and prudency in the process of the management of public resources.
The commissioner who was represented by the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry at the event, Alhaji Ibrahim Adamu Kakas assuared the participants that the Ministry always counts on them, due Consider their closeness to the grassroots in meeting the yearning and aspiration of the people they are serving.
He further called on them to continue cooperating maximally with other arms of their respective Local Governments on the explorations of the best needs of their people on the mission of inputs-outputs transformation through the principle of the laid rule of the transparency, accountability and prudency as enshrined within the context of law.
