Few days to the general election, a lawmaker representing Garki/Babura federal constituency in Jigawa state, Alhaji Musa Muhammad Adamu, dumped his All Progressive Congress (APC) and defected to opposition of People’s Democratic Party (PDP).
The lawmaker, who is representing the serving governor’s constituency announced his defection to PDP shortly after he was received by the gubernatorial candidate in the state, Alhaji Mustapha Sule Lamido in Dutse the state capital.
He explained that, he decided to join PDP to support his friend (Alhaji Mustapha Sule Lamido) and ensure his victory in the forthcoming election as next governor of Jigawa state.
